Founded by Jolaade Akanbi, a designer whose passion for fashion blossomed in childhood, the brand was born from a lifelong commitment to creativity, elegance, and identity.
After years of professional experience in both the Banking sector in Nigeria and the transport sector in the UK, Jolaade returned to her first love— fashion. She pursued formal education in fashion and design and launched Jolaádé in 2021, following her earlier venture, Jolzy Creation (est. 2019).
With a deep appreciation for the richness of African textiles and a vision for articulate and wearable art, Jolaádé was created to celebrate royalty in every woman.
In 2024, due to a popular demand the Men’s range was created.
